In our recent article, we were surprised to see a record-breaking 100+ comments on our site. However, it was disheartening to note that a significant portion of these comments were unrelated to the article's content. As we've mentioned before, the nature of many comments was not only off-topic but also carried tones of disrespect and degradation. We were also deeply disturbed by certain allegations and behaviors exhibited by some commenters. Such hostile remarks and actions have no place on our platform. We kindly ask all commenters to maintain civility and respect, as our aim is to offer a constructive space for current and former GDT members to share their insights.
Over the past several decades, whispers have circulated suggesting Pastor Isaac Noriega might have fathered a child outside of wedlock, with some speculating this took place during his tenure as Tabernaculo Emanuel / Golden Dawn Tabernacle Pastor. It's essential to approach such claims with caution and avoid sharing them without substantial evidence.
In our article last week, we aimed to dive deeper into the topic of abuse and explore its prevalence within Golden Dawn Taberncle's culture. However, this has been challenging due to many situations having a mix of elements like spiritual, physical, and mental abuse. But due to recent tragic events, we're compelled to discuss a specific issue today: the abuse of the elderly and sick. Though we intend to delve deeper into various forms of elder abuse in future articles, today's piece will specifically address its connection to the church services. A recent incident highlights just how alarming this form of abuse can be.
If one were to read the content available on this website and hear the testimonies of both former and current members, it would be evident that Golden Dawn Tabernacle has significant issues with unchecked abuse/ manipulation. While it's not fair to claim that the GDT leadership perpetrates all instances of abuse, the environment and culture they have fostered seems conducive to abusive and manipulative behavior. In forthcoming articles, we plan to delve deeper into the various forms of abuse that occur within GDT, which often go unreported or unaddressed.
Separation Within The Church - Mistrust and Infighting
Pastor Isaac Noriega According to current and former church members, Pastor Isaac Noriega, the leader of the church, is well known for the harsh tactics he uses for maintaining tight control over the church and its members. It is important to note that Isaac teaches that as the pastor and head of this sovereign church, he holds authority over them, so it is important that they be subject to his teachings. One of the methods of control he routinely uses is encouraging families to separate, even those who are current church members, by suggesting there is no reason for them to visit each other, especially grandparents. This is believed to be done in cases where he fears the grandparents may influence their children and grandchildren against him, especially if he has had a falling out with them.
