Danny Ramirez was a key figure in the foundation of the initial Tabernaculo Emanuel, which eventually evolved into the Golden Dawn Tabernacle (GDT). He shared a profound friendship with Isaac Noriega, and he witnessed many of Isaac's transformations, from his humble beginnings to his evolution into an authoritarian pastor. Even today, it wouldn't be surprising to hear Isaac reminisce about their youthful days and their exploration of William Branham's teachings during a sermon at the GDT. When Danny Ramirez chose to part ways with Isaac Noriega's church in the 1980s, his departure led to the loss of an influential congregation member, an associate pastor, and a lifelong friend of Isaac Noriega, not to mention one of the early founders of Tabernaculo Emmanuel. However, the narrative Isaac propagates today diverges significantly from the reasons behind Danny's decision to leave, known to those familiar with the situation. To compile a truthful account of the circumstances, we've spoken with family members and original church attendees. Danny Ramirez’s decision to leave GDT and the following stories have raised questions over the manipulation of church history and the usage of fabricated narratives by Isaac Noriega for potentially manipulative purposes.

Interestingly enough Isaac Noriega continues to assert today, even after 25 years since Ramirez's death, that Ramirez passed away as an active member of the church. Noriega maintains his celebration of Ramirez's virtues and shares stories/memories about him from the pulpit. This article's goal is to illuminate Isaac Noriega's adoption of the "Big Lie Technique," a method involving the twisting of facts to recast church history, usually in a bid to manage public perception and mitigate damage. This method, famously employed by Joseph Goebbels in Nazi Germany, suggests that a lie, if repeated enough times, can eventually be perceived as the truth, thereby enabling the distortion of facts.
Noriega often shares a story of Ramirez's repentance on his deathbed, professing that Ramirez asked him for forgiveness after leaving the church. This narrative serves as a cover for the less appealing truth about Noriega, replacing it with a tale of grace and absolution. Family and people familiar with the situation, however, dispute the veracity of this story.
According to these sources, during Ramirez's illness, Noriega only visited him once at the hospital, and this visit was never private. A relative who was present during that one visit has revealed that it was actually Noriega who asked Ramirez for forgiveness, which Ramirez reportedly granted. This version starkly contradicts Isaac's claims that Ramirez had expressed remorse and wished to rejoin the church.
To maintain plausible deniability, Noriega allegedly discouraged other church members from visiting Ramirez during his illness. When Danny Ramirez's family unearthed Isaac Noriega's fabrications, they requested the church's recordings of services where Isaac specifically mentioned Danny, but their request was denied. Former GDT members were astonished to learn about the deception and the true reasons for Ramirez's departure, namely his concerns about the church's cult-like behavior.
Concerned onlookers compare Isaac Noriega's behavior to that of leaders in other cults, citing his alleged control tactics, such as threatening to curse individuals by removing them from the protection of the blood of Christ and delivering them to the devil for the destruction of their flesh.
Danny Ramirez, who believed that no man had the power to strip away the protection offered by the blood of Christ, was troubled by Isaac's cruel and arbitrary use of this technique.
Moreover, Noriega reportedly aimed to isolate church members from external influences, including other "Message" churches. In one instance, Ramirez and his family vacationed in Canada at the home of William Branham's daughter, and attended a church service. Upon learning about this, Noriega berated Ramirez for missing a church service in Tucson while attending the one in Canada. In a heated phone call, Danny expressed his disagreement with Isaac's attempts to dictate whom he could associate with.
As Noriega's control seemed to waver, he resorted to false allegations and threats, even hinting at removing Ramirez from Christ's protection. Ramirez's decision to leave the church came as a response to Noriega's escalating thirst for power and control.
Ramirez's departure presented a conundrum for Noriega, who had to justify why a dedicated and key church member had left the church. Rather than expose the truth, Noriega supposedly concocted a parable about Ramirez to serve as a warning and a means of self-aggrandizement. With Ramirez no longer able to refute his claims, Noriega utilized this "Big Lie" to solidify his authoritarian control over the GDT. We believe that fear, deception, exploitation, and Noriega's self-centered desires characterize this control.
This narrative is one among numerous stories shared by former members, all of them echoing a common theme - Isaac's manipulative tactics and character defamation upon their departure. This account holds particular weight as it involves Isaac's former close friend, demonstrating that even this intimate bond couldn't shield him and his family from being publicly vilified, belittled or gaslit. For years, Isaac has been able to propagate untruths from his "sacred desk" without any checks or opposition. However, the tides are turning now as people are coming forward to set the record straight.
It is important for our readers to ask themselves: why does Isaac Noriega keep bringing Danny Ramirez up? What is interesting is the similarity in how Isaac constantly brings up his late wife Lucy. We have received reports of Isaac mistreating his wife from multiple witnesses. Does Isaac feel some shred of guilt or remorse in how he treated Danny Ramirez and Lucy Noriega or is he simply projecting his insecurities?

During Lucy’s funeral issac said that the whole time he was married he never sat outside on the front porch or in the living room with her. He said this with regret he lost a punching bag that took the brunt for allot of the church problem poor Lucy. He said that he was always too busy studying that his kids were raised by her. What a horrible husband. And on the Danny situation they said Danny left cus he was scared of issac. What many don’t know was a a lot of these old timers that started the church with issac, were under him in a gang called brown pride. That’s why a lot of these men obeyed every command that he gave. I always thought it was funny how just because issac said that Danny repented in his death bed he was restored even though he went to another messege church? To GDT members how Can issac take you out from under the blood If he never put you under from the first place? open your eyes is this man worth your eternal doom? Thank you for this article it was great GOD BLESS

A family member of mine that doesn’t attend gdt anymore that was close to Ismael Noriega told me that he treated sister Lucy really bad and I remember feeling bad for her when she would walk into the church with her head down all the time

Just look at that picture of Ismael. He looks like a 1970’s mob boss. And he acts like one too. Ad the sad part is he knows it and the church members don’t. If you GDT members can’t see that this church is nothing but a power grab for Ismael and his ministry minions then youre blind.

For years we sat in that church. Without being able to defend ourselves, for years we heard slander about people that escaped Isaacs grasp. And for years we actually believed all his lies. Just like these commenters defending the person they hide from. It’s not that these people have their head in the sand, It’s that they deliberately look at the evidence and still choose to defend a liar, a family destroyer, a slanderer, all these people commenting here defending Isaac have their families broken and they constantly hide from Isaac. I guarantee they have not told him they read these articles. Because they know exactly what would happen to them if they admitted they had the internet. Thank you GDTR TEAM for giving people that have left that cult and granting them a voice to speak the truth. Come what May. Always speak the truth. That’s the only thing that will stand.

Did you mean major fact check? Your spelling needs a major fact check. Did you also mean…a source? It’s probably hard typing on a flip phone. Take your time to comment next time, and also bring your evidence to correct any of these facts from sources as you will be considered a source as well. We are still waiting. If you take the time to read this articles ( thank you btw) I’m sure you have the time to gather the agenda you so fiercely defend.

As the old saying goes, power has a way of corrupting even the noblest of hearts. Isaac’s predecessor will probably be worse. At least Danny Ramirez is an example of one who recognized the storm on the horizon and chose to distance himself from it. Regrettably, he was only one of a few elders had the courage to resist. One willing to choose truth, and reject narcissistic leadership, and refuse the wealth that would come at the expense of the church community. Unfortunately, so many of the leaders of the church are were willing to sacrifice the growth and potential of their own children in order to keep their status or out of cowardice. Maybe this next generation will have the courage Danny Ramirez did and get out before a an even more sinister leader takes hold, or Brother Isaac gets inhumanely worse, like Paul Schader, Leo Mercer or Warren Jeffs. The cream of evil will rise to the top, GDT, and if it hasn’t taken your children, it soon will.

Everything you all share in the post reminds me of my years at the Shalom Tabernacle, in Buenos Aires. Back in the 80s, we also had a humble beginning; I met them during those years, I was an insecure teenager, and the proposal to be part of the chosen ones really seduced me. In those years we rented a small garage of 5x8 meters for meetings; we were in a revival (the revival of the chosen ones). We were a group of ignorant and poor people who needed to feel that we were superior and better than others. We were very young and naive; the pastor was also young, without preparation or education for such a tremendous task, with no counseling studies or anything like that, just with the desire and energy to feel superior and chosen. It was always about that, about belittling all the other denominational groups and the message groups and positioning ourselves as God’s chosen ones; for them, spirituality and salvation were always about competition, competing with other groups for the Father’s love. Years later, after being away from all that, I understand many things that happened there. It was always about Love for Power; the pastor’s salvation and hope were always about having absolute power and control, speaking like God, being believed as if God Himself was speaking, thinking, and feeling. They always worshipped and followed that God, the God of Power, not the God of Love. You consecrate your life, your family, you literally give your life and everything you are to that God, the God of Power. 20, 30, 40 years devoted to that illusion, to those expectations, the rapture, perfection, adoption, being part of God’s superior chosen ones… And what you really get while being there is the opposite; everything is governed by the logic of power, superficial appearances, hiding, not being able to speak, competing, learning to manipulate, the victims become victimizers, the abused become future abusers. Values such as honesty, speaking the truth to each other, freedom, trust lose their meaning. It’s all about gaining power, having more power, keeping power, following power and dominance as if that is God. Love, honesty, truth, reason, conscience, freedom, virtue, everything good has to be subject and under “the power”. Just like you, I also saw how the pastor followed power all his life as his only hope and salvation. Jesus was tempted with power in the desert, with having power, and Jesus rejected having that power… In contrast, these pastors love that power, they want more and more of that power, they need more of that power, absolute power and control over your life, your mind, your decisions, over your family; these pastors need you to believe them blindly, unconditionally, that you give them all the power, all the control, so they can have more power. After so many years of me being out of all that influence and fanaticism, I can clearly see what it was all about. They are insecure, ignorant, perhaps jealous and envious people who want to live well and feel good about themselves, human beings just like any of us. But instead of addressing, processing, and maturing all those insecurities and fears as human beings, no, they strengthened them by believing themselves to be angels, believing themselves to be God’s chosen ones. And today, after so many years of promoting and worshipping the cult of fear and power, what truly governs and dominates them and imposes their limits and values are: The pastor’s jealousy, the pastor’s love for power, the pastor’s need to dominate and control, the pastor’s need to compete, the pastor’s need to feel superior and better than others. Everything that Jesus rejected, these pastors grabbed with all their might. And just like anyone who gives their soul to power, they too, gave their souls to power. Power gives you things, but it takes away happiness and tranquility, it takes away humanity, it takes away being a good person, it turns you into an abusive, mean, manipulative, superficial, unreliable person, it kills spirituality. It turns you into a monster that always needs more power and control. And all in the name of God.

The real “Saved By Grace”here… since one of Isaac’s “flying monkeys” is imitating my call sign I’ll finish posting for him.. Furthermore (dear GD) Isaac wanted me to add that he’s actually not try to control your lives. he’s just saying what God revealed to him. So don’t question him otherwise you’re questioning God… Isaac said he loves you and doesn’t care about your money. It’s God that’s needs the cash. Just look at all the happy faces every Sunday & Wednesday and remember Keep Sweet Pray & Obey Signed: flying monkey
Saved By Grace — June 25, 2023#
FLYING MONKEY : is a popular psychology term that refers to an enabler of a highly narcissistic person or someone with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD). A flying monkey is an agent who acts on their behalf.
Saved By Grace — June 25, 2023#
When I speak of the GD power pyramid or elites..or as I will refer to them going forward: ‘Flying Monkey’ is the term given to those agents (Rey Aguirre, deacon etc) that collude with an abusive person (Isaac) Their role is to continue carrying out tormenting the victim (ex members) on Isaac’s / Prince Harry’s behalf.. when the GD sheep decides he wants to live the life God gave them and begins to see that Isaac does not speak for God and is all about power and money the flying monkeys are released! The following statement is this individual’s opinion having been in GD while Bro Danny attended and after he left: Bro Danny Ramirez departure was problematic for Isaac because he couldn’t deploy a flying monkey or smear campaign so easily. The sheep knew Bro Danny was a true shepherd and his life spoke for itself.. Isaac not throwing mud at someone leaving would cause people to realize they can still be saved after leaving GD..so he cut ties and threw mud at Message Churches in the area immediately. (my opinion) There’s more nuance to the story but I pray you see that you can be saved without Isaac and the GD building is not the dwelling place of God. It is the heart of the individual. Ephesians 3:18 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts (not a church) through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Fred — June 26, 2023#
I had the privilege of working with Danny for over 30 years. The narrative given in this article is very contrary to what I experienced. Danny always held very high respect for pastor Isaac. He would always share with me all the memories he had growing up with Isaac. He told me Isaac was a real man of God and of no compromise. He said he left trying to save his marriage and family because they did not want to serve God. But even his last year of life he would always respect pastor Isaac and was so happy when pastor would come visit him everyday the last two weeks of his life. I hesitated to comment, but I know Danny would never have approved of such a false article as this one.
Crusader 99 — June 26, 2023#
Ask any member of the Ramirez family and they will tell you that “Fred’s” comment above is a complete lie and a total fabrication. Isaac Noriega did not visit Danny every day for the last two weeks of his life. He visited exactly once and everything written in the article published is 100 percent accurate.
The Real Fred — June 26, 2023#
To Crusader 99 - the above comments from whoever is using Freds name are totally false. Because I’m the only Fred that worked with Danny Ramirez for approximately 18 years before he retired due to his illness. Never at any time have I had a conversation with Danny regarding Isaac, his family or the hospital visit from Isaac. So whoever wrote this article is using my name in vain to try to support their lies. This is pathetic!
Crusader 99 — June 26, 2023#
Thank you for coming forward and telling the truth. I can’t believe the lies that people will tell and the depths to which they will stoop when they are trying to defend Isaac and the cult.
Danny Ramirez — June 26, 2023#
Yeah, thats definitely a lie. Trust me. He was my Dad. We left because we didnt want to serve Isaac.
Danny Ramirez — June 26, 2023#
And if someone told you he visited my Dad every day the last 2 weeks, either your lying or they are.

Bro Danny was a big influence in my life. Not only was he my Sunday School teacher, neighbor and friend but he was a great role model. His life was his testimony. He was the epitome of what a true Christian should be. I was surprised when he left to go to Tucson Tabernacle. However, looking back, he saw the writing on the wall before a lot of people. I left GDT 33 years ago and I can truly say that was one of the BEST decisions in my life. justgarcia@hotmail.com

The Truth Shall Set You Free — June 27, 2023#
Thank you to all of the people coming forward to set the record straight. It’s eye opening to see the lengths the people defending Isaac are willing to go with blatant lies and pretending to be other people.
If you have to lie to defend Isaac, then doesn’t that defeat the purpose? Doesn’t that make those defending him and Isaac look even worse? Lies and coverups are for dishonest people who lack integrity.
John 8:31-32: 31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;
32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

I don’t want to be offensive in any way but my heart goes out to you people It is so sad to see that the people that claim to have great revelation are struggling with a man like that
Back in the day I asked brother Perry Green for a Spanish speaking Church and I ask about Noriegas Church
He said to me if you want to suffer persecution and mentally abuse go there.
For a few years I thought that brother Green and he’s Humanity he was trying to keep me away from there not knowing hi was 100% right
I found a beautiful place not because of the building it’s just a small Church
The people in the building they have a beautiful spirit we do believe the message nothing compared to Noriegas way of teaching this people are so loving and kind.

Don’t take it offensive my precious brothers and sisters but remember the story of Johnny Crow that the prophet used to talk about.
There was this Rancher that he had a plantation of corn in the crows used to come and eat the his corn
The Rancher got so upset he wanted to teach the crows a lesson so he caught one and tied him by the foot to a tree
Few months later a good samaritan pass and on tide the poor crow And said to him fly Johnny Crow fly
The prophet said Johnny Crow was so used to being there even though he was untied he was still walking around the tree
Remember We love you in Christ And we say to you fly my brother and sister fly as fast as you can out of there if you don’t want to keep suffering mentally abused and persecution fly 😭😭🥺🥺
Out here there’s so many beautiful places where you can go to church So many beautiful people Why would you keep suffering that man doesn’t have nothing good to offer

Oh ya the hypocrisy goes a long way I remember years ago I was at a video arcade with my girlfriend and I turned around and Robbie Gutierrez jr. was standing behind me with his 2 little boys waiting in line and when he saw me he turned around and walked away, also I always thought it was kinda weird that Bobby Gutierrez sr. and Isaac Noriega were really close back when in the day considering the things Bobby was known to do.
