While some are quick to label Golden Dawn Tabernacle as a cult, others within still defend it. However, in hearing their defensive arguments, we have yet to find any who will defend Pastor Isaac Noriega personally, with the exception of his family. Rather, most seem to be protecting his position as the pastor and the "bringer of the word." They will make statements such as he's just a man, then follow it up with stating that Isaac is more than man, that he acts as God's mouthpiece.

Through our investigation of similar organizations, we came across an unsettling pattern of conduct exhibited by Golden Dawn's leadership. Esteemed specialist in undue influence and controlling groups, Steven Hassan, has compiled a list of common traits shared by such groups. This article is based on Hassan's BITE model, which encompasses four types of authoritarian control: Behavior, Information, Thought, and Emotional. It is noteworthy that Golden Dawn conforms to nearly every single point on this list. Groups that fulfill the BITE criteria are categorized as cults.

We have noticed a significant amount of attention being directed towards this website lately, both from the general public and from current and former members of Golden Dawn Tabernacle. Below is the breakdown of the organizational structure of the church leadership team. It is important to note that since 2015, all current leadership positions in the church have been appointed by Isaac Noriega. This is significant because church-wide elections were suspended at that time due to Noriega's belief that the church is governed by a "theocracy" (conveniently he acts as God's representative). This is despite legal documents listing the church as a "religious association acting through its duly elected trustees and Isaac Noriega as its founding pastor and Matthew J Noriega as associate pastor". Note: some of the individuals have multiple roles.
